A native of Burlington, MA, Daniel attended Burlington High School for two years before transferring to Buckingham Browne and Nichols where he played hockey and baseball and was the 2015 ISL Pitcher of the Year. He went on to pitch at Boston College where he was a three-year starter. He was drafted by the Yankees in the 2018 MLB Draft (38th round) and the Chicago White Sox (5th round) in the 2019 draft. In 2019, he led the Atlantic Coast Conference in ERA and was selected 1st-Team All-ACC and 3rd team All-American by Collegiate Baseball News.
While at BC, Daniel played summer baseball for the Falmouth Commodores and Chatham Anglers in addition to directing a kids baseball/softball camp in East Falmouth, MA called Men’s Club. He’s also worked numerous Birdball camps and was a staff member for the Chatham A’s morning camps. He’s looking forward to working with the local youth teams this winter.
